Printer Maintenance

Hello,

I have a question on the Printer Maintenance menu item.
"U" to update the printer codes. If I choose to add a new
print code, lets say a new font. After I leave the description
field Filepro asks, "Add description of code number (142) to
global table? (Y/N)". I have always said no. 

If I say yes what actually happens?
