-RO causes an error

That was my recollection that I should not use a protected lookup in a
browse format. If that is wrong then I will do so from this point.
As far as Ken is concerned he is probably the best thing that happened to
filePro besides Esak and gang. It has been a pleasure to be part of the
list. If I have a problem that goes back many years and Ken can easily
answer for me and the group immediately than that is wonderful. If he
doesn't want to then he won't. If he doesn't that will be sorely missed as
the support line tries but can't quite do it.
Ken is part of the list. Whether he writes code or not he's part of the
group. He can respond if he wants to.
I asked another question of whether I'm getting 5.0 or above on AIX. My
understanding is Ken is part of what needs to be done. If not tell me who is
and I'll call them. I need 5.0 or above ported on AIX otherwise IBM will not
support me.
I need filePro to step up to the plate and support AIX. I have been using it
since 1979 or there abouts. I have also been a great supporter of filePro.
I shouldn't be left out in the cold.
Again as far as Ken answering a question that was lying around for two days
unanswerable by anyone on the list, I think I can suggest that Ken may know
and that I'm surprised he has not answered. That is appropriate. No one else
was able to. If he doesn't want to, then so be it. I can still ask. It was
indeed appropriate. It's Ken's decision.
I'll be out of the office until Tuesday afternoon if someone wants me to
respond.
The list is great. Let's not forget what its all about.
