We have a sales prospect who is currently using a combination of ACT, Excel,
and Quickbooks to run
their Design/Project Management business.

They do a lot of re-keying of information to provide marketing, sales, and
project status information
to management. A lot of the management reports are derived from manually
entered excel spreadsheets
which they want to get away from.

A friend of the President suggested that they look at filePro but they do
not have any
programmers on staff and are looking for a turnkey solution.

One of the things they mentioned about their use of Quickbooks was thet they
have no good way
to receive partial payments against a project and analyze cash flow based on
future expected
payments.

I do not have a good feel for what they are willing to spend but they asked
me to see if any filePro
developer has a possible solution for them. They are currently used a
variety of Microsoft products.

They design and then outsource the manufacturing of speciality toys and
promotional items.
