The computer *you* wrote your message with is windows, so you do have 
access to a windows box.

I am 99% sure fpTech will let you test fpODBC for a limited period.

The tutorials that they wrote are excellent, and well debugged. I'd 
estimate in a day, you'll have mastered the basics of using filePro with 
SQL (or rather more correct SQL servers with usable ODBC driver) databases.

You might get by with only a seat of fpOBDC, share that "empty" seat via 
Remote Desktop.

Actually, what Mark is working on might be utilized as a SQL <-> filePro 
sync tool. Keeping two filepro systems in sync isn't nearly the problem 
of keeping a SQL and filePro system in sync.
