CAPR Washington State Candidate Ratings
To help those who will be voting in the upcoming Washington primary
election, CAPR has established Candidate Rating Pages
<http://www.proprights.org/PAC/Candidates.php> on the CAPR website
<http://www.capr.us/> . On these pages you will find ratings of many
candidates. These ratings have been made by the CAPR Political Action
Committee and local CAPR chapters.
Every candidate with an email address received an email containing our
property rights questionnaire and the CAPR Pledge
<http://www.capr.us/PDFs/Candidate_Pledge.pdf> which they can sign
signifying that they support property rights. The ratings include
"Outstanding", "Good", "Fair" and "Poor". A candidate can only receive an
Outstanding rating if they have signed the pledge or shown consistent
efforts to support property rights as an elected official. Note that
ratings are given based mainly on property rights criteria.
Once you are at the Ratings pages, fine tune the search for the races for
which you are interested by clicking the four drop down menus at the top of
the page labeled "All", "Jurisdiction", "District" and "Office". These
tools will allow you to quickly zero in on the candidates in which you are
interested.
The CAPR Board gives sincere thanks to PAC Board Director Chuck Wennerlind
for creating sophisticated software which has made this possible on a
statewide basis. For those in California, please hang on. Chuck has plans
to adapt the system for your state.
