Never were truer words spoken.  Hence, the theme for the 4th Annual
Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights Banquet.  The CAPR Legal Fund invites
you to help us celebrate the importance of property rights on Saturday,
March 19th.

 

Join us in the Grand Ballroom at the Doubletree Suites Hotel in Tukwila,
Washington.  The evening starts with a reception at 5:30 followed by the
Banquet at 7:00.  This is an opportunity to meet and greet with other
property rights supporters, some fresh faces as well as many veterans, to
share your experiences and to learn from others.  Many consider the
reception as the best part of the evening.  There will be two no-host bars
for refreshment.  There will also be silent auction tables with items for
you to bid on for the benefit of the Legal Fund.

 

Next you will enjoy a buffet dinner of fine foods in the company of some of
the best folks you'll want to meet.  During the program you will get updates
on what CAPR is doing to help protect property rights.   We are excited to
announce Matt Manweller as our keynote speaker for this year's program.  Dr.
Manweller is a professor of Political Science at Central Washington
University and his talks are always engaging and thought provoking.  And to
add some extra energy to the evening we are planning a short live auction to
benefit CAPR Legal Fund.  (Note:  If you would like to donate an item for
auction, please contact Jeff Wright at the email address below.)

 

The cost for this year's event will again be $50 per person.  You may
register online by going to www.capr.us <http://www.capr.us/>  and clicking
the Banquet tab at the top of the home page.  Or you can print and mail the
registration form attached to this message.  Early registration will result
in the best seat.  If you are active in a CAPR chapter, check with your
leadership as many have reserved tables and want you with them.  Also, for
those who wish to stay at the hotel, special CAPR room rates apply.  See the
flyer attached to this message for this and other Banquet information.

 

New this year will be a full day of workshops related to property rights
issues during the day before the Banquet starts.  You will receive a message
soon on this event.  They are separate events and you can come to one ore
both (hopefully!).  See the class schedule attached to this message for the
workshop schedule.

 

The 2011 Banquet is sponsored by, and for the benefit of the CAPR Legal
