PLAN NOW TO ATTEND THE CAPR CRITICAL AREAS AND PROPERTY LAW WORKSHOPS

 

 

The CAPR Legal Fund invites you to day of property related workshops on
Saturday, March 19, 2011.

(The same day as the CAPR Banquet!)

 

This year we have expanded our pre-Banquet program to a full day of
workshops.  We will begin at 9:30 AM with opening remarks by King Co. CAPR
President Rick Forschler followed by four sessions.

 

The morning and mid-day sessions will deal with Critical Areas education and
issues. These will be presented by CAPR member Steve Neugebauer who is a
hydrogeologist and engineering geologist.  Steve's sessions will present the
highlights from his two day program on this subject.  No matter your level
of knowledge regarding critical areas, you will learn something new during
this presentation.  Steve's wealth of experience and his knowledge of
environmental law have been very valuable to CAPR since it has been working
with Steve.

 

Session Three will be presented by attorney Paul Hirsch who will talk about
Takings and Environmental Law.  Paul is an environmental scientist who
became a lawyer and he is currently involved in two legal actions for the
Legal Fund.

 

Session Four will be presented by attorney Justin Park and will deal with
Appeals and Federal Statutory Means of Challenging Wetland and Sensitive
Areas Determinations.  Justin litigates cases dealing with these issues.  He
also is involved with two pending legal actions for the Legal Fund.  This
session will end at 3:45 PM.

 

The price of admission for this day of learning is only $35 and it will
include a buffet lunch so that we can pack in as much information as
possible.  We have intentionally kept the price at a break-even level to
help insure that as many people as possible can take advantage of this
valuable training.

 

The workshops will be held at the Doubletree Suites Hotel in Tukwila, WA
which is located at 16500 Southcenter Parkway, Tukwila.  For a landmark, the
Doubletree is located directly southwest of the Westfield Southcenter Mall.
