[Capr-announce] CAPR needs your help NOW!

Fellow Property Rights Advocates,

 

Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights is making headway in fighting for and
restoring your property rights.  We're dealing with critical areas updates,
shoreline setback issues, grandfathering, flooding, fish and forest law
takings, etc, etc.  You name the property rights battle, and we are there on
your behalf.  But it takes members and money to effectively fight these
battles.  That's where you come in.

 

CAPR is in the midst of pursuing a goal to expand to at least 12 chapters by
the end of this year.  We are well on our way to achieving this goal, having
added 4 chapters in the past few months, bringing us to a total of 9
county-based chapters: 8 in Washington, and one in Ventura County,
California.  And we've got as many as 5 more counties in Washington "peering
over the fence, looking at jumping into our pasture," as well as expressions
of interest from people in Idaho and Montana.  This is a "make or break"
time for CAPR, with huge opportunities before us, but we need YOUR help
right now <http://www.capr.us/capr_pp_donate.php>  to take advantage of the
opportunities in front of us!

 

We are preparing a fundraising mailing to a large mailing list.  This
fundraising effort will help take CAPR to the next level by funding our
chapter expansion effort to increase our influence and effectiveness.  We've
got the letter ready to go, but it will cost us approximately $15,000 to do
the mailing, and we need help from YOU to make it happen.  

 

You have been among the most loyal supporters of CAPR, and we greatly
appreciate your past support.  This email appeal is going to over 500
supporters.  If only 1 out of 10 read and respond with a donation, we would
need $300 per person to reach our goal for the mailing.  If you can't do
$300, how about $150 or $75?  We need you to give SOMETHING to let us know
you're with us in this effort.  Please, give as much as you can, knowing
that your contribution will help leverage other contributions through this
fundraising mailing, and will help step CAPR to the next level of
effectiveness in protecting your property rights.
