FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Whatcom County has formed a new Chapter of CAPR(Citizens Alliance for
Property Rights) first organized in King County and now with several
chapters around the State.
First meeting of the group will occur Tuesday August 11, 2009 at Meridian
High School 194 W. Laurel Road (1/2 block west of Guide Meridian on Laurel
Road) beginning at 7:00 PM.
Addressed by the group will be concerns with LAMRIDS, Septic Systems,
Downzones, Youth Groups like FFA and 4H, Critical Areas Ordinance,
Conditional Use and many other concerns.
All people with property rights concerns are invited to attend.
E-mail whatcomcaprchapter at gmail.com or call 360-671-1324 for further
details.
CAPR (Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights) was organized in 2003 as a
non-partisan political action committee where individual citizens and
existing organizations can work together defending property rights.
We will support equitable and scientifically sound land use regulations that
do not force minority groups of private property owners to pay for public
benefits enjoyed by all.
