Let's look at the KCD election.

 

*	Simms/Phillips candidate didn't break 30%. (327 = 29.86%)
*	Livengood got almost as many votes as the total cast last year (768
vs. 864? was it last year?)
*	The "buddy system" worked well where folks asked others to go vote
with them
*	KCGOP helped, as did Kirby Wilbur (don't know about other radio
hosts)

Got a call from someone who voted in downtown Seattle. A voter said, "It's
terrible. Some property rights group on the Eastside is turning out lots of
voters.")
