Karl and I were so impressed with the short speeches everyone CAPR-connected 
gave during the public comment period at yesterday's Council meeting in 
Carnation.  Such a pity the whole council did not stay to hear all our 
comments.  They might have learned something if they'd truly listened.
Thank Heaven for Kathy Lambert, and I believe Reagan Dunn was still there 
when we had to leave.

Jack, your "I Have A Dream" speech was terrific.  I wonder if all our Martin 
Luther King County Councilmen "got it".

Ron, thank you for seeking me out before we left, and announcing that I was 
there for my turn to speak.  It felt good to speak our little piece. (But, I 
will say, that the blank stares from a few of the council members made me 
realize all the more that they were tuned out.)

Kudos to all who took time to attend!
