Would whoever put up this sign please deal with this problem? Send me an
email so I know you have taken care of it. Thanks. Rod

Subject: City of Redmond calling about large I-933 sign
Carl from the City of Redmond called this morning. The City of Redmond has
an ordinance that limits political signs to a maximum of six square feet.
There is a Yes on 933 sign that is 10 x 6 ft at the corner of Novelty Hill
Rd and Avondale Rd in Redmond (on right of way). Three other campaigns have
called the office to ask why the large 933 sign is being allowed. It
sounds, based on Carl's description, like someone took the 4 x 8 933 sign
and mounted it in a frame with four smaller "Yes on 933" signs on the
perimeter.
Carl reiterated several times that the city is not judging the content of
the sign. The size is in violation of the city ordinance, so the sign will
be laid down so it can be taken away by the owner or redesigned by the owner
to meet the 6 square feet maximum.
Scott, can you forward this information to your sign contacts in King
County? Gary
